Today i am sharing the recipe of the very famous Paal Kanji/ Coconut  Milk Porridge.This Paal Kanji is one of my favourite nostalgic food. Whenever i hear Paal kanji i always remember my grand mother, she' s no more now but still i remember her when she gave me wonderful memories about traditional food items. I think she had  magical cooking spirit.

I used to watch my grand mother and mother cooking, just looking not helping hahaha.

Recipe for Paal Kanji:

This is a very easy Paal kanji recipe.

Matta rice  - 1 cup
Coconut
Salt
Water - 5 or 6 cup

Method:
Wash the Matter rice.

Into the pressure cooker add washed matte rice 1 cup  and 6 cups of water.



Pressure cook for one whistle and just wait for pressure release or you can wait for 6 or 7 whistle and wait for pressure release or other way s when pressure come put weight on top of the lid and wait for 25 minutes in a sim flame then switch off the flame and wait for pressure release.




Once the pressure fully released open the cooker and stir the rice well.Add fresh grated milky coconut and salt into the rice porridge and cook well.






Stir well and serve hot.
