How to make soft idiyappam

Today i am sharing the recipe of Idiyappam - How to make soft Idiyappam.
Idiyappam/ Noolappam/ Noolputtu is a very popular steamed south Indian break fast dish. It is also known as Kerala rice noodles, which is very healthy. Idiyappam can be served with curry or coconut milk.
Recipe of Idiyappam/ Noolappam/ Noolputtu.
Ingredients:
Rice flour
Hot Water
Salt
Method:
Firstly mix roasted rice flour and salt.
Add boiling water gradually into the rice flour mix.
Knead the dough using a spatula. Cover the pan with a lid.
After few minutes, open the lid thee dough should be hot using your hands(be careful the dough is hot) knead the dough until you get a soft dough.
Now you need idli mould and idiyappam mould to make this Idiyappam.
Grease the Idli mould and idiyappam mould.
Boil some water in the idiyappam pot.
Fill the idiyappam mould with a small portion of idiyappam dough and press idiyappam through idiyappam presser onto idli mould.
Place the filled idli mould into the idli steamer, cover the idli pot and cook it for 8-10 minutes on a medium flame.
Now idiyappam is ready, transfer the cooked idiyappam into the serving plate. Serve with curry.
