Mathan ila Thoran - Karkidakam Special

Hi Friends,

Today i am sharing the recipe of very healthy leafy dish known as 
Mathayila Thoran : Karkidakam special.
One of my favourite leaf stir fry. I love this curry is because of not only nutrient packed, it's taste is wonderful.

It has great medicinal values good for teeth, hair, skin etc etc...
Do you know one thing, why our parents and grand parents still looking healthy and energetic(beautiful), it's because of their healthy food habits and healthy life style.
If you want to be strong like our older generations, it's not late this is the special time for you. Enjoy each moment and live each moment.

Recipe of Mathayila Thoran 

Ingredients:

Mathayila - 1 big plate
Cooking oil - 1.5 tbsp
Shallot - 10 - 12
Curry Leaf - 2 sprigs
Dry Red Chilli - 2 whole
Crushed Chilli - 1/2 tsp
Coconut - 1 cup
Salt - required

Method:

First heat coconut oil in a kadai, add crushed shallot, curry leaves, dry red chilli, crushed chilli and mix very well.





Add some grated coconuts to it as well.




After add our Pumpkin Leaves to it, mix it well and close the lid.




When the steam comes out open the lid and add some salt as required then mix well.




Now our curry is ready.
